BIO: Maryann Cocca-Leffler of Amherst, NH, is the Author and Illustrator of over 60 books for children. Maryann’s book, Janine and Janine and the Field Day Finish were inspired by her daughter, Janine. Maryann grew up in the Boston area and attended Massachusetts College of Art and Design where she received a BFA in Illustration. Her very first book, Thanksgiving at the Tappleton’s written by Eileen Spinelli, was published in 1982 and was re-released in 2015 as a classic. The book closest to her heart is her book BUS ROUTE TO BOSTON, which was based on her childhood in Everett, MA.
